In a new episode of the Arthritis Foundation’s podcast Live Yes! With Arthritis, Jacqueline Child, who has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and arthritis, and her sister Alexa detailed their dating app Dateability for individuals who have physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disabilities. Also appearing in the episode was Sadiq Jiwa, who explained his experiences and challenges dating while also managing his juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The podcast’s host, Rebecca Gillett, MS, Director of Content Strategy and Planning at the Arthritis Foundation and an occupational therapist as Insight Wellness, was diagnosed with arthritis at the age of 26, and later was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease. Ms. Gillett announced that the new episode—the podcast’s 73rd—would be the last one she would host.
