The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced that it has created a new website in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundation with the goal of improving the quality of life of veterans living with arthritis. The VA’s National Center for Healthcare Advancement and Partnerships and the Arthritis Foundation partnered in 2021 to provide educational materials, expand access to care, and establish supportive services for these veterans. As of July 7, the VA and Arthritis Foundation’s new website has incorporated more information and resources to aid veterans in seeking relief from their arthritis symptoms and address the challenges of managing the disease. The website also includes virtual and in-person support group resources, exercise videos, and a pain management tracker. Individuals can visit the new website at arthritis.org/veteran.
