The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) announced that Aileen Ledingham, PT, MS, PhD, has been welcomed as the 58th President of the Association of Rheumatology Professionals (ARP) during the ACR Convergence 2023. Dr. Ledingham is a physical therapist clinical scientist at Mount Auburn Hospital, where she has worked to implement exercise and physical activity in the management of knee osteoarthritis. She has previously served in various leadership positions and has engaged in several committees at the ARP. “The ARP has been a professional home for me for more than a decade—providing the support, resources, and educational value needed to excel in my rheumatology career. To now be trusted to lead this organization and all it does to serve rheumatology health professionals and their patients is a true honor,” Dr. Ledingham concluded.
