The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) announced the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors, according to a press release. Andy Blauvelt, MD, MBA, an investigator at Oregon Medical Research Center, will serve as the Medical Board Chair, alongside new additions Valerie Harrison, PhD, Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Temple University and an Adjunct Professor at the Temple University Beasley School of Law and College of Liberal Arts; Brian Janssen, Solutions Director for Clinical Informatics and Infrastructure at GE Healthcare; and Diana Sandler, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and a rheumatologist at NorthShore University. All new members will serve 2-year terms effective July 1. “We are adding these new leaders at a perfect time for the organization. We are in the process of developing the strategic plan that will guide NPF for the next half-decade, and their contributions are going to be essential,” commented Carol Ostrow, Chair of the NPF Board of Directors.
