The Skin of Color Society announced that it has partnered with the Dermatology Foundation to develop the new Sanofi-Regeneron Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mid-Career Award. The Society noted that the new award will address health-care disparities by funding research conducted by three mid-career investigators into dermatologic conditions impacting underserved communities. Each award recipient will receive $100,000 for up to 3 years of support, and all prospective research projects must be performed in the United States under the sponsorship of a dermatology department or division that has been approved by the Accreditation Council Graduate Medical Education. Submissions for the Sanofi-Regeneron Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mid-Career Award will be accepted from September 15 through December 1, 2023.
