The Yale School of Medicine announced that Marcus Bosenberg, MD, PhD, has been appointed the Anthony N. Brady Professor of Dermatology, Pathology, and Immunobiology. Dr. Bosenberg is currently serving as Director of the Yale Center for Immuno-Oncology as well as Director and principal investigator of the Yale Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) in Skin Cancer at the Yale Cancer Center, Director of the Center for Precision Cancer Modeling, and Co-Leader of the Cancer Immunology Program. His research is focused on the factors contributing to processes of anticancer immune responses, immune system stimulation and the targeting of cancer cells, and the pathogenesis and progression of melanoma. He hopes to use his new appointment to improve diagnostic strategies and develop novel therapies for cancer.
